Minutes of Meeting 10^th September 2009

Present: Kevan Tongue, Mike Tyson, Brian Garret, Jo Bailey, Stephen Case, Pat Shaw, Sue Francis, Derek Cliff, Anne Edgeller, Dorothy Garrett, PCSO Pete Davies, PC Steve Thornton.

Matters Arising from Previous Meeting:

Suggestions around amalgamation of Baswich community group and Neighbourhood Watch or joint group with Wildwood. To be raised when NW next meet.

Police Update:

From PC Steve Thornton:

Section 30 update.

Plymouth Brethren agree possible community use of car park.

Possibility of use of part of former pub for community use.

Police surgery at St.Annes on Oct 17^th 3-5pm.

Shops:

Streetscene have tidied planted areas outside shops, and replanted.

Shops have agreed to fund plant maintenance.

AGM:

Still no volunteers for Chair or Secretary.

AGM is on 22^nd. Future meetings should be reduced to 6 per year, with extra speciality meetings if required.

Format of AGM discussed.

Cyclists on pavements discussed
