Calling all Kids!  Be a part of your Local Community’s History and enter our competition, with a chance to win a family meal for 4 at the Radford Bank Carvery!

 

To Enter:

1.   Grab a piece of A4 paper.

2.   Draw, write, glue, photograph, paint (or a combination) on one side of the paper to show what you like about living in this area.  It can be a favourite building or place, a special person, a story from the past or the present or anything else that you want to show or tell about Baswich and Weeping Cross.

3.   Write your Full Name, school and school year on the back. 

4.   Hand it in to your school office or to the Baswich Library by the 22^nd of July 2011.

 

Entries will be displayed in Baswich Library as part of the History@Baswich event from the 5^th to the 10^th of September 2011.  The public will vote on their favourites - there will be one winner from Key Stage 1 and one winner from Key Stage 2.  Each winner will receive a voucher for a family meal at the Radford Bank Inn!
